Sluban blocks is a chinese building block brand by Century Youyi Toys.
This is a list of Sluban building block sets in my collection. They were one of the very first alternative Lego brick brands that I bought way back in 2014. They are still going strong in 2022 and they produce their own product designs, not copied from Lego. Most of the Sluban sets in my collection were Aviation or City themed.
I found that the last construction sets I bought have diminished in quality, so I've not made any new purchases of Sluban bricks since 2020.

Do you an opinion on the quality/longevity/clutch power of this brand? We've done well with Levin. Saw some of these recently but have learned from experience that not all off brands are the same. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Mike, I would say Lepin and Bela brands are the best quality of Lego alternative building blocks. The newer Enlighten brands are good too. Ausini bricks are good if you don't mind the very weird looking minifigs. Sluban I would rate as fair, because their plastic is softer than the other brands and their construction vehicles don't have decent wheels.
DeleteOh yeah, I would stay away from Kazi brands. They are probably the worst. I have a few of their fire vehice sets.
DeleteSluban used to be an excellent brand of products. Unfortunately in the last 2 years they went down hill and are probably one of the worst brands. Their missing bricks rate is over 10% - yes 1 of 10 sets is missing bricks or has the wrong ones. As a seller you have no way to make money on these because of the return rate. To top it off Sluban has no respect for their customers they cheat them across the world. Beware if you want to sell this product line you are going to be in a world of hurt.
